Today, we are in Trogir, about an hour from Split. A tidy little town with a 12th-century fortress and a bell tower that took 200 years (!) to build. More huge private yachts and lots of dockside restaurants.
Back to Newman. While dining dockside for dinner, this guy comes roaring by on this crazy cart. He is the trash man. He stops at all the garbage cans on the promenade and loads the trash into his cart. He looks like Newman and he acts like Newman. Our waiter said that this guy is the hardest working city worker. He zips around every day of the week, 16 hours a day. He must have come by 4 times while we were eating but only stopped once to check a trash can. Hmm......
